Precision Extrusion Engineering
A detailed walkthrough of our 6-step manufacturing lifecycle: from raw polymer selection to NABL certified hydrostatic testing.
The Science of Jointless Conduits
At FILTEC Polyplast, our commitment to quality starts at the core. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in **Bhubaneswar** is equipped with globally recognized German-tech extrusion lines, ensuring that every product meets stringent international standards.
By running automated production lines, we achieve highly consistent dimensions. This translates to simpler installations, stronger welded joints, and structures that withstand earth movements or hydraulic shocks without leaking.
NABL Standard Quality Checks
In-house laboratory verifying thickness tolerances, longitudinal reversion, and burst parameters.
German-Tech Extruders
High-performance vacuum cooling and die-heads that shape polymer to micro-level specifications.
6 Steps of Precision Sizing
Material Selection
We source high-grade polymer resin and utilize advanced additive blending to ensure thermal stability and chemical resistance.
Precision Extrusion
Advanced German-tech extrusion lines melt and shape the polymer, maintaining uniform wall thickness across every millimeter.
Cooling & Sizing
Controlled vacuum sizing tanks cool the pipe rapidly while locking in dimensional accuracy to the micro-level.
Printing & Cutting
Automatic laser marking systems print technical data on the pipe before precision cutting to standard lengths.
Socketing
Automated heating and forming create high-precision sockets for leak-proof, easy-fit joints.
Quality Testing
Final hydraulic pressure, impact, and dimensional checks in our NABL-standard quality lab.
Quality Testing Lab Procedures
Every batch of piping conforms to the NABL certification framework. We verify durability using destructive and non-destructive measures.
Tested and stamped under ISO 9001 and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) parameters.
1. Hydrostatic Burst Test
Subjecting randomly selected pipes to pressures up to 3 times their rated limit at 80°C, verifying material molecular bonds stay unbroken.
2. Online Thickness Inspection
High-speed ultrasonic scanner logs diameter coordinates in real-time, preventing weak spots or wall thinnings across the extrusion sequence.
3. Impact & Heat Reversion Testing
Dropping weighted hammers at 0°C to check impact resistance, and baking samples to ensure low longitudinal shrink thresholds.
